As you all might know I decided to look for a job this year, needing a little something more to occupy my lonely days without my little ladies at home. To my surprise, I received two job offers. However, I am unable to say “no” to may things, this conflict being one of those times. Needless to say I took both jobs & am now praying that I can do them both without sacrificing the best job I have for 13 years as a mother. Any who this week is my 1st week so far it is going well, “knock on wood!”
My darling husband sent me flowers to get me ready to go back to work after all these years & to put a smile on my face. Of course the beautiful flowers did all that he wanted from them. It was nice just to know that even with his busy schedule he still had time to send his wife lovely flowers.
Thanks again Jd for my beautiful flowers. xoxo

Portland-area business professionals: 2008 Rainmaker finalists announced
By Anonymous
Publication: Daily Journal of Commerce
Date: Friday, September 26 2008
You are viewing page 1
When it comes to making it rain in the area of business development, some people seem to be able to make it pour. Consider, for example, the eight Portland-area business professionals selected as finalists for the Daily Journal of Commerce's 2008 Rainmaker Awards.
Now in their third year, the awards go beyond simply recognizing people who excel at drumming up new clients and projects for the companies for which they work. They also honor professionals who make outstanding efforts to share their skill at - and understanding of - rainmaking with others.
The finalists, selected from nominations submitted by their colleagues, represent a range of industries. They include: Bob Boileau, principal of Myhre Group Architects; Sarah Bracelin, director of business development and marketing for Myhre Group Architects; Josh Caldwell, business development manager for S.D. Deacon Corp. of Oregon; Chris Johnson, executive vice president of Norris, Beggs & Simpson; Robert E. Kabacy, a partner in the law firm of Kell, Alterman & Runstein LLP; Kimberly C. Krull, principal of Sparling; Vivian Perry, director of marketing for Pacific Office Furnishings; and Lyn Schmidt, business development manager for Lockheed Martin/Energy Trust of Oregon.
The finalists, including one who will be selected as the "Ultimate Rainmaker of 2008," will be honored during an Oct. 29 lunch event that begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Nines in downtown

Volleyball is up & going once again. Patience is doing well & is loving playing on the "BLACK" team this year. We of course are extremely proud of Pj & her ability to play well with the black team. We all enjoy going to her games...she likes it too however, Patience is getting tired of every day practices which some practices start at 7:30am & 6 games a week. Ha ha! As a mom I love that she is doing good things to keep herself busy. What with all the babysitting she is doing, young woman's, & working a few hours at a flower shop, this little woman is on high demand. Ü
